Bands To Not Sleep On:VICE

Vice is a hardcore band from New York and they are definitely keeping up the NYC  tradition of aggressive in your face hardcore! I caught these guys a couple times when my band played with them in PA and they blew me away. They are definitely a band that will make you want to mosh as hard as you possibly can. Give these guys a listen and check them out on their tour this summer, definitely an A+ band.

Punishment Due-Demo review

Punishment Due is a hardcore band from Long Island,NY and their demo is pretty sweet. If your into Trapped Under Ice,Bad Seed and War Hungry this demo and band is for you. The band has the general hardcore sound down pat but they add a really cool twist to the formula, they incorporate cool guitar work into their music which gives it a southern feel which I like alot. This band played at the brick moose last week with Mother Of Mercy and I missed them and now after listening to this demo I wish I hadn't. I highly recommend you give this demo a good listen!

No Lessons Learned-Demo Review

No Lessons Learned is a hardcore band from Philly. They have a demo which is pretty awesome. If your into Righteous Jams, Mental or The Rival Mob you'll love this band. The cool thing about this band is how they blend a punk sound in with their hardcore, something that alot of hardcore is missing today. However this band has it's fair share of cool breakdowns as well. This band also has a sense of humor which is honestly very refreshing. The Songs that I would recommend on the demo is their "self titled song" and "crucial texts".Anyway I highly recommend that you give this demo and band a listen because it is definitely worth your time.

Bible Thumper-Demo Review

Bible Thumper is a band from Brick,NJ. They play D-beat and they're fucking awesome. If your into anything from Disrupt to Black Flag you'll be all about these guys. The very unique thing about this band is that there is no guitar, it is simply bass and drums. Bible Thumper and Mister Snake are the only local bands that I know of which do this and it is super cool. The songs are fast and to the point so it's pretty hard to space out when your listening to this tape. There is also a melody in their music which definitely hooks you in. Their song "You're going to hell" proves this. My favorite song on the tape is definitely Devout, it really kicks you in the balls right from the get go. To wrap this up definitely check these guys out and catch them live it's worth your time!
